Practical Nursing Activities of the 9th Cohort Under the New Curriculum

Battambang Institute of Nursing Sciences continues to place strong emphasis on student training by integrating both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice, preparing students with the competencies and professional skills needed for their future careers.
During these activities, 9th Cohort Nursing Students participated in a variety of practical nursing procedures under the new curriculum in the Institute’s nursing skills laboratory.
Through hands-on practice with healthcare equipment and training mannequins, students had the opportunity to learn and perform essential nursing care procedures, as well as prepare and properly use materials and equipment related to nursing practice.
The practical sessions also focused on improving accuracy, attentiveness, hygiene, safety, and the proper step-by-step performance of nursing procedures.
Under the guidance and supervision of instructors, students participated in observation, hands-on practice, note-taking, and knowledge sharing with one another to strengthen their understanding and confidence in performing nursing skills.
This type of practical training is an essential part of nursing education, as it allows students to connect the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom with practical application in a simulated environment that closely reflects real-world healthcare settings.
